A poet, Tailor and Entertainment Analyst, Ameza Selorm was very passionate and concern about the music industry in his hometown. Ameza Selorm which is also known in the showbiz industry as Black Ocean said on facebook express his feelings towards Akatsi. And he said Akatsi Music is not improving and it is sad. Our Musicians are not making waves even in the Volta Region and that is sad.
We don’t have a single Musician who is making waves on even Social media like others from other towns and this is sad.
So tell me who is to blame and what can we do to change this?
Remember Akatsi has been recommended by many as a solid showbiz town where events turn out in numbers and then we are in the middle of Southern Volta.
And then we have the award winning Promoter and DJ of the year willingly ready to promote good content on radio and he has made songs hits and we know but why isn’t Akatsi music making any impact.
Is it that our Artists lack good content?
Or they lack creative management?
Or they are just lazy?
Or this is because we don’t have a recording studio and sound Engineer in town?
